Press Up Hospitality Group's Paddy McKillen Jr and Matt Ryan are reportedly planning to develop a €40 million hotel in Kilkenny city.
As reported by TheTimes.co.uk, Press Up and CIE have signed a development agreement to construct a seven-storey, 99-bedroom hotel with an outdoor swimming pool on a 0.8-acre site beside Kilkenny’s MacDonagh train station.
According to TheTimes.co.uk, the plans require the permission of Kilkenny County Council, and the deal for the site includes a 300-year lease upon the completion of the proposed hotel development.
