STR Data Indicates Hotel Occupancy Decreased By 72.8% In Europe In June

According to hotel industry market data company STR, hotel occupancy decreased 72.8% year-on-year to 21.6% in Europe in June.

Average Daily Rate And RevPAR

Meanwhile, the average daily rate (ADR) in the region decreased by 34.8% year-on-year to €83.69, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) decreased by 82.3% to €18.11.

Lowest Levels Ever Recorded For June

STR noted that while absolute occupancy, ADR and RevPAR levels in Europe were up in June from the levels recorded for May, they were the lowest ever recorded for June.
