"Their commitment to our sector and extensive experience are a great asset to the IHF as we continue to advocate for members at the highest levels of government.”

'Key Priorities'

Founded in 1937, the Irish Hotels Federation is the national organisation of the hotel and guesthouse sector in Ireland.

It represents over 900 hotels and guesthouses nationwide, employing over 65,000 people.

40th President

In February, the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) announced that Michael Magner has been elected as its 40th president, succeeding Denyse Campbell.

Magner has been an active member of the IHF since 2006 and served as chair of the Cork branch, a two-year term as national vice-president, and as a member of its National Council and Management Committee.

"I look forward to working with Colm and Matt to deliver our key priorities in relation to economic growth, leadership in sustainability and supporting people development within our sector,” said Manger.
