Trigon Hotels Announces Appointment Of New General Manager Of Cork International Hotel

Trigon Hotels has announced the appointment of Eoghan Murphy as general manager of the Cork International Hotel.

Murphy's Background

The Cork native graduated from the Shannon College of Hotel Management and spent several years working in management roles in London in Le Meridien Waldorf, Kingsway Hall Hotel and Apex City of London Hotel. Murphy returned to Ireland in 2008, working at the Croke Park Hotel and in Armagh and Belfast.

Murphy was appointed deputy general manager of Cork International Hotel in October of 2019. He takes over the general manager role from Carmel Lonergan, who was recently appointed director of group operations with Trigon Hotels.

Managing director of Trigon Hotels Aaron Mansworth stated, "I am pleased to announce Eoghan Murphy as the general manager of Cork International Hotel. He has considerable management experience across a range of different departments throughout his career. Progression and career development is something we take very seriously at Trigon Hotels. It is wonderful to see our team members making their way up the ladder especially when it is someone as dedicated and hard working as Eoghan.
