Statements

Aaron Mansworth, managing director of Trigon Hotels, said, "We are very proud of our collaboration with Ability@Work as it allows us to create job opportunities for people supported by Cope Foundation. We want our hotels to be as diverse and inclusive as possible and having team members of all abilities and backgrounds, who are passionate about their job is central to that. The charity ball is an opportunity to celebrate the successful relationship that has flourished between Trigon Hotels and Cope Foundation in recent years as well as raising much needed funds for the organisation."

Eamon Nash, chief operations officer, Cope Foundation, said, "Corporate partnerships are really important to us at Cope Foundation as they provide community inclusion as well as financial support. Since Trigon Hotels opened its doors to Ability@Work it has employed six people supported by Cope Foundation and has facilitated work experience for five more. Not only has the hotel group helped to elevate Ability@Work and helped create a culture of inclusion throughout Cork, Trigon Hotels has improved the lives of the people supported by the programme, boosting their confidence and happiness."

Eoghan Murphy, general manager of the Cork International Hotel added, "The Cope Foundation/Ability@Work Charity Ball promises to be a fantastic event. There will be plenty of music and dancing as well as spot prizes, a charity auction and a raffle. I would like to thank the many local businesses who have generously donated auction items and prizes. It would not be possible to run a charity event like this without their support and the hard work of the teams at Trigon Hotels and Cope Foundation."
