Dublin's Former Carrigan's Pub Hits The Market

The former Carrigan's pub on Dublin's Old Kilmainham Road has hit the market with a guide price of over €2.5 million.

Potential Development

According to The Irish Independent, Hughes Planning and Development Consultants stated that new planning guidelines for the area in which the pub is located may mean that a seven- or eight-storey hotel consisting of 70 to 80 bedrooms or a residential scheme could be constructed on the site.

Selling agent Robert Colleran stated that planning permission previously existed for a five-storey mixed-use development on the site.
