Earnings Exceed €1m At Dublin's Orchard Inn

New accounts filed by Orchard Inn Ltd, the company that operates Dublin's Orchard Inn pub, have revealed that the firm's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (edited) increased 23% from €889,503 in 2016 to €1.09 million last year.

Located in Rathfarnham, the Orchard Inn pub was purchased by publican Charlie Chawke for €22 million 12 years ago. The Irish Independent reports that in response to the revelation of last year's earnings, Chawke said that the venue's business "went from strength to strength" last year and asserted that he is "very happy with how the pub is doing."

Post-Tax Profit And Cash Pile

Orchard Inn Ltd also recorded a rise in post-tax profit from €156,015 in 2016 to €349,372 during the year ending on October 31, 2017, with the company's cash pile increasing to €698,730 while the book value of the pub is €20 million.
