Galway's Tartare Café + Wine Bar Announces Return Of 'Wine & Design' Events

Tartare Café + Wine Bar of Galway's Dominick Street Lower has announced that it will be hosting a series of  "Wine & Design" events again in 2020.

Tartare will host a local artist or designer each month this year to provide them with a platform to discuss their work, their inspirations, and what it means to be an artist in Galway.

Each event will include a wine tasting as well as a talk highlighting the creative winemaking process of natural, organic and biodynamic wines.

Featured Artists

The first event will take place on March 5 and will feature photographer Julia Dunin, who will be discussing her female portrait photography project.

This will be followed by events featuring graffiti Shane O'Malley, ceramic maker Tatiana Dobos and tattoo artist
Steve Kennedy in April, May and June, respectively. Kennedy's event will be a special "Craft & Draft" edition of the series, which will feature beer instead of wine.

Each event will take place between 7pm and 8pm and each one is free, but Tartare's owners recommend booking in advance.
