Westridge Real Estate has applied for planning permission to demolish Kielys pub in the south Dublin suburb of Donnybrook and build a shared living complex that would include a restaurant and café on the site.

Westridge Real Estate purchased the property in November of last year, and, soon thereafter it was reported that a residential-led scheme that would include a restaurant was being planned for the site.

Planning Application Submission Confirmed

Westridge Real Estate has now confirmed to The Business Post that it has applied for planning permission to demolish the existing pub and replace it with a three to seven storey shared living complex.

According to plans filed with Dublin City Council, the complex would include a restaurant and café on its ground floor.

The application for permission to demolish the pub was submitted by Domhnach Limited, which lists Mark Redmond of Westridge Real Estate and Clodagh O'Kane as directors.
