Owners Of Louis Fitzgerald Group Share €6.854m Pay Packet

Owners of a number of pubs in Dublin Louis and Helen Fitzgerald shared a €6.854 million pay packet last year, marking a significant rise on the €435,962 that the husband and wife team received in directors' pay for 2017.

The pay packet figure was revealed in new accounts for the Louis Fitzgerald pub and hotel group's largest entity, Burtse Ltd., which also indicate that pre-tax profits at Burtse dropped by 30% to €5.6 million last year.

Revenue, Staff, Operating Profits And Interest Payments

Meanwhile, Burtse revenues rose 16% to €69.9 million, the number of people employed by the business increased from 705 to 798 and staff cost including directors' pay rose from €15.39 million to €22.2 million.

Burtse operating profits for last year came to €8.29 million. The business paid out €2.6 million in interest payments, leading to the €5.6 million pre-tax figure.
