An application for permission to demolish Quinn's pub of Drumcondra in Dublin and construct a mixed-use residential and commercial development on the site that it currently occupies has been lodged with Dublin City Council.

Plan Details

As reported by The Irish Examiner, permission is being sought to demolish all of the existing structures on the site that Quinn's currently occupies, which also includes number 46 and the surviving facades of numbers 48B, 50 and 50A Drumcondra Road Lower, Dublin 9, and construct a five-storey over partial basement mixed-use development that would consist of a ground floor café, retail unit and bookmakers, and 50 build-to-rent apartments with internal communal amenity and support facilities.

Decision Due Date

A decision about the application is expected to be made later in 2021.
