Pre-Tax Profits Rise At Dublin's Johnnie Fox's Pub

New accounts for Co. Dublin's Johnnie Fox's pub have revealed that the venue's pre-tax profits increased almost twofold to €396,588 during the year that ended on March 31, 2019.

Meanwhile, the company's cash pile increased from €76,900 to €534,737, and its accumulated profits amounted to €641,295 at the end of last March.

Coronavirus Impact

Johnnie Fox's has had "a few cancellations" lately due to COVID-19, including from an overseas group who had a booking for September 2020. However, the pub's business development manager, Sinead Keane, said that while Johnnie Fox's does have some concerns about how the virus will affect business, it has a very strong domestic customer base, as reported by The Irish Times.
