Pub Operator Greene King To Permanently Close Approximately 26 Outlets

A spokeswoman for British pub operator Greene King has said in an e-mailed statement that the company will permanently close approximately 26 outlets.

Fresh Restrictions

The spokeswoman said that the planned closures are due to fresh coronavirus-related restrictions in the UK, which include shutting pubs and restaurants early.

Looking To Find Alternate Jobs For Its Employees

Greene King, which was bought out by Hong Kong developer CK Asset Holdings Ltd last year, said that it urgently needs government support and that it is looking to find alternate jobs for its employees within the company.
