Northern Irish pub operating group Wolf Inns has announced that it is investing £500,000 in refurbishing Romas bar and bistro of Newtownards, Co. Down.
The revamp of the venue will be carried out by Strong Construction, and will be phased, allowing for business to continue as normal throughout.
Wolf Inns managing director Andrew Gedge said, "Work on the first phase of the refurbishment, the downstairs bar and restaurant, has already started and will be complete by Friday May 30.
"A new separate bar, The Fox and Hounds, will also be created on the ground floor within the existing footprint of the building later his summer.
"Finally, the 120-seater bistro and private dining areas on the first floor will also undergo a complete refurbishment, culminating with the creation of a New York inspired open air roof terrace."
