Boeuf Steakhouse Opens New Restaurant On Suffolk Street

The team behind Boeuf Steakhouse have announced the opening of a new restaurant called Boeuf & Coq located on Suffolk Street, Dublin 2.

Boeuf Steakhouse opened in South William Street in 2007 and described itself as a restaurant "serving prime Irish Steaks with a French Flare."

Boeuf’s Signature Seasoning

The steakhouse only uses prime cut Irish beef and all steaks are aged between 28-35 days. Each steak is brushed throughout the grilling process with virgin oil blended with Boeuf’s signature seasoning. It is then presented on a hot seasoned cast iron plate with a sautéed French onion crouton.

The restaurant also has an extensive bar menu including Gin Bramble, Mojito, Pornstar Martini, Whiskey Sour, Campari Spritz, and Heff's Expresso Martini.

New Chicken Dishes

Boeuf & Coq in Suffolk Street will be nearly two times bigger than the original restaurant and will be able to accomodate gatherings of up to 150 people.

In addition, the restaurant will be incorporating some new chicken dishes such as chargrilled Irish half chicken with rosemary & thyme red wine gravy, chargrilled peri peri half chicken with lemon & chilliand peri peri dipping sauce, and crispy breaded chicken kiev served with roast garlic & herb butter.

All the chicken is free range and like the steaks will be brushed throughout the grilling process with virgin oil blended with Boeuf & Coq signature seasoning.

'Good Steaks, Good Sizes'

Although chef Erik is excited about the new chicken dishes on the menu, he still insists that steaks will still be very much a signature dish at Boeuf & Coq.

"We offer very good steaks, and very good sizes!" said Chef Erik.
