Boojum Set To Open First Restaurant In Limerick

Rapidly expanding Mexican fast food chain Boojum is set to provide a jobs boost for Limerick when it opens its first restaurant in the city in the near future.

Boojum, which was founded by husband and wife team John and Karen Blisard in Belfast in 2007, will open it doors at the former Danske Bank unit at the Patrick Street-Denmark Street junction in the city, reports limerickleader.ie, which added that the company has this week sought job applications for a restaurant manager in Limerick.

Boojum already boasts outlets in Belfast, Dublin, Galway and Cork, with the chain currently preparing to open its fifth Dublin branch in Smithfield, just off of the city's north quays.
