Brabazon Restaurant At Tankardstown House Reopens

Brabazon Restaurant at Tankardstown House in Slane, Co. Meath, has reopened after undergoing expansion and renovations.

To mark the occasion, the venue hosted a reopening evening.

The evening began with a champagne reception in the new Morrison Suite, before an eight course tasting menu. Live entertainment was provided by vocalist Sean Boland.

Statement By General Manager

"We are thrilled to re-open and reveal the new look Brabazon Restaurant," said Tankardstown's general manager, Tadhg Carolan. "The addition of the Morris Suite has allowed us to increase our capacity significantly, and we look forward to welcoming both old and new diners back to Brabazon."

Tankardstown House Named 'Country House Venue Of The Year'

The above news follows news that Tankardstown House has been named the winner of the award for "Country House Venue of the Year" at this year's Weddingsonline Awards.

The awards ceremony took place at a gala dinner celebration that was held at at the Mullingar Park Hotel in Co. Westmeath.

The Weddingsonline Awards 2023 evening was attended by close to 500 hopeful finalists and wedding professionals, who were present to celebrate the best in the wedding industry.

Commenting on the venue's accolade, Tankardstown House marketing manager Lindsey McGuinness said, "It is a huge honour to receive the award amongst other fantastic venues and suppliers in attendance. Ireland has a wealth of stunning wedding venues, and we are thrilled to be recognised as one of the best in the country."
