Building Housing Shanahan's On The Green in Dublin Hits The Market

The Georgian House on Dublin's St. Stephen's Green that's home to renowned fine dining restaurant Shanahan's has hit the market under instructions from receiver Ken Tyrrell of PwC.

According to The Irish Times, the property's asking price has been quoted as €4.5 million by CBRE.

The four-storey building encompasses 600 square metres, with the basement, ground and first floors being occupied by Shanahan's, while the second and third floors house office space and an apartment, respectively.

Having operated on the premises for almost 30 years, Shanahan's currently pays a yearly rental rate of €240,000 on a lease that's due to expire in 7 years. In 2019, the restaurant's rent will rise to €290,000.
