Co. Kildare's Aimsir Restaurant To Operate Takeaway Trailer For Three Days From August 14

Co. Kildare's two Michelin star Aimsir Restaurant at the Cliff at Lyons is planning to serve takeaway food from a trailer in the Cliff at Lyons' gardens on Friday August 14, Saturday August 15 and Sunday August 16.

As reported by The Irish Times, Aimsir's upcoming pop-up venture, which will accept payment by card only, is called Every Cloud and will operate between the hours of 1pm and 6pm, or until it runs out of food, on each of the days it will be open, and the menu will include lobster rolls, lamb kebabs and purple-potato fries with cheese foam.

Kildare Residents Only Due To Lockdown

The venue came up with the trailer idea after restaurants in counties Kildare, Laois and Offaly were required to close from Saturday August 8 due to the beginning of a lockdown to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in those counties.

Takeaway food services are still permitted to operate during the lockdown. However, due to the lockdown, to avail of the trailer's offerings, you have to be a resident of Co. Kildare.
