Domino's Pizza Group Announces Interim Chief Financial Officer

Domino's Pizza Group Plc has announced that Neil Smith will become its interim chief financial officer on April 15.

Smith most recently served as CFO of Ei Group plc. He worked with Ei from 2011 until its recent takeover by Stonegate Pub Company. He has also served in senior finance roles at Compass Group, Virgin Media and Telewest.

Smith's appointment follows the death of the group's previous CFO, David Bauernfeind, who passed away in December of 2019. His appointment also follows the recent announcement that former Costa Coffee CEO Dominic Paul will take on the role of Domino's Pizza Group CEO on May 1.

As an interim appointment, Smith will not be joining the board.

"An Excellent Addition"

Domino's Pizza Group chairman, Matt Shattock, stated, "I look forward to welcoming Neil to the group. Neil will make an excellent addition to the team at this important time."
