Freshii To Open New Galway Branch September 3

Healthy eating fast food chain Freshii is opening a new branch in Galway on Monday September 3. Located on Lower Cross Street, the latest Freshii venue will offer a range of salads, hot bowls, burritos, healthy wraps, soups, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt served in an eco-friendly environment.

Commenting on the announcement, Freshii Ireland master franchise co-holder Dave O’Donoghue said, “Freshii is one of the fast-growing restaurant brands in the world, serving a healthy and customisable menu built around high-quality fresh ingredients. We can’t wait to energise people in Galway and satisfy the demand for healthy and fresh food at affordable prices.”

Ireland's Greenest Fast Food Business

Freshii recently announced that it plans to become Ireland’s greenest fast food business. The franchise asserts that it is committed to protecting the environment by introducing a fully compostable range of food containers, cups and cutlery in all its Irish restaurants. Almost every Freshii food container a customer eats from will be fully compostable, degrading into the earth in six to eight weeks with only organic matter left behind. The new forks, spoons, knives and straws are also made from eco-friendly plant starches, which decompose quickly leaving no trace metals behind and Freshii will provide compost bins in store so that every item can be disposed of correctly.
