The Hawksmoor steak and seafood restaurant of Manchester in the UK accidentally served a £4,500 bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol red wine to diners who ordered a £260 bottle of Bordeaux.

"Chin Up!"

A post Hawksmoor Manchester's Twitter page said, "To the customer who accidentally got given a bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol 2001, which is £4500 on our menu, last night - hope you enjoyed your evening! To the member of staff who accidentally gave it away, chin up! One-off mistakes happen and we love you anyway."

As reported by bbc.com, Hawksmoor founder Will Beckett revealed that a manager from one of the company's other restaurants who was helping out at the Manchester venue at the time offered to find the £260 bottle of Bordeaux for a waitress, but accidentally picked up the £4,500 bottle of Chateau le Pin Pomerol instead.
