Belfast's Shu Restaurant Invests £1m In Major Refit Project

Belfast's Shu Restaurant has invested £1 million in a major refit project.

The project will involve expanding the venue into the property next door and dividing the venue into three sections, one of which will be the current Shu venue on the ground floor. The other two sections will be called The Upper House, which will be a private dining venue, and Jul's, which will be in the basement and feature DJ performances on Friday and Saturday evenings.

"Delighted"

The Belfast Telegraph quotes Shu co-owner Alan Reid as saying, "We and the entire team, many of whom have been with us since the early days, are delighted to finally reach this point in our 20-year history where we are investing in the next chapter.

"This huge financial investment is testament to the quality of our food and hospitality, the hard work of our team and the loyalty of our guests throughout the years."
