Insomnia To Open First Northern Irish Outlet In Belfast

Irish coffee chain Insomnia is set to open its first Northern Irish outlet on the ground floor of Belfast's CastleCourt centre next week.

The Irish Independent reports that Insomnia chief executive Harry Kelly said that the company is "delighted" to be setting up shop in Belfast. The new branch will create ten jobs in the city upon its launch.

A Welcoming Space

Kelly commented, "I'm sure our coffee will be very popular and hope the store will become a local hub. The store design reflects Insomnia's coffee heritage whilst also taking and combining inspiration from vintage tea shops and industrial urban lofts. A welcoming and comfortable space using fabrics and natural finishes punctuated with quirky and fun branding evokes a great ambience."
