Lisburn's Frankie & Benny's Restaurant Closes Permanently

The Frankie & Benny's restaurant in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, will not reopen following its closure due to the COVID-19 crisis earlier this year.

The Belfast Telegraph has revealed that the Sprucefield Park venue has closed permanently, however, the Frankie & Benny's restaurants on Victoria Square and Boucher Place in Belfast have reopened.

"Difficult But Necessary Decisions"

The Belfast Telegraph quotes a spokesperson for Frankie & Benny's chain parent company The Restaurant Group as saying, "The casual dining sector has faced enormous, well-documented pressures which have been exacerbated by COVID-19 and the lockdown. Unfortunately, we have had to take difficult but necessary decisions to ensure a sustainable future for our business. We have been in close contact with affected colleagues throughout this process, and we are doing all we can to support them during this time."
