Lisdoonvarna's Wild Honey Inn Wins Michelin Star

The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2018 was announced today at a live gala in London, revealing that the Wild Honey Inn in Lisdoonvarna has won a Michelin star.

The win for the popular Co. Clare eatery, Ireland's sole new star this year, brings to 11 the number of Michelin starred restaurants in the Republic of Ireland, with a further two in Northern Ireland.

Chapter One, L’Ecrivain, The Greenhouse and last years' newest addition, Heron & Grey, retained their single-star in Dublin, while Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud held on to its two stars.

Elsewhere, Gareth Byrne's Campagne and Mount Juliet's Lady Helen restaurant retained their stars in Kilkenny, as did JP McMahon's Aniar and Enda McEvoy's Loam in Galway, while House Restaurant at Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, Waterford, also held its star.
