McDonald's Seeks Permission For New Drive-Through In Coleraine

McDonald's has submitted an application to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council for permission to build a new drive-through outlet next to Asda on the Ring Road of Coleraine, Co. Derry.

According to The Belfast Telegraph, McDonald's submitted a report to the council's planning officials that states that the fast food giant's free-standing restaurants ideally operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and that parts of the Asda car park are excess to requirements and underused.

Employment Opportunities

If approved, McDonald's said that the proposed drive-through restaurant would create as many as 65 full- and part-time jobs.
