New Café Opens At Belfast's Custom House Square

Twenty new jobs have been created through the opening of a new café and restaurant at Custom House Square in Belfast city centre. Café on the Square is located on the ground floor commercial unit of the Custom House Square Residence Development, which comprises eight floors and 84 apartments, as well as 45 car park spaces.

Despite the building being completed in 2009, Café on the Square is the first tenant to occupy the ground floor unit, and is now open for business daily from 7am.

A Perfect Location

Michael Campbell, general manager of Café on the Square, commented, “It is fantastic to become the first tenants at the Custom House Square Residence restaurant unit, set in the heart of Belfast’s cultural and entertainment sphere.

“The location for this venture is perfect and boasts beautiful surroundings, as well as benefitting from the significant footfall of the nearby Cathedral Quarter.

“Belfast now boasts a fantastic range of high-quality restaurants, and we are confident that Café on the Square will be a welcome addition to the rich mix that is already currently on offer in the city centre.”
