Shanahan's On The Green Concerned Its Business Will Be Harmed By Neighbouring Construction Work

Shanahan's on the Green has said that it is concerned that its business will be adversely affected by construction work on a new Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (RCSI) education facility that is planned to be developed next door to the Dublin restaurant.

Consultants' Statement

The Irish Independent reports that consultants for Shanahan's on the Green told Dublin City Council that "constant pounding and vibration thuds from piling will not be acceptable to patrons and bad press or TripAdvisor reviews will be a deterrent which will affect the viability of the business".

The RCSI has submitted plans to Dublin City Council for an eight-storey eduction and research building that would replace the proposed site's existing eight-storey structure.
