Supermac's Founder Receives Permission To Construct New Obama-Style Plaza In Longford

Longford County Council has granted permission to Supermac's founder Pat McDonagh to construct a multi-million euro Obama-style plaza on the Ballinalee Road in Longford.

The proposed drive-through restaurant and food court is expected to generate employment opportunities for as many as 100 people.

Estimable Intentions

The Irish Independent quotes McDonagh as saying, "These are jobs that will help sustain the region and are intended to generate a social dividend.

"They are jobs intended to give young people the opportunity to develop catering, retail and hospitality careers in Longford if they wish to do so."
