Supermac's Posts Healthy Profits As Chain Eyes Expansion

Irish fast-food business Supermac's is planning further expansions to its Irish operations after the company recorded pre-tax profits of €15.95m last year.

Revenues at Supermac's Holdings were up more than €20 million last year to €136 million, while the chain retained earnings of €84.5 million, reports thetimes.co.uk.

Supermac's currently boasts 100 restaurants in Ireland, with its owner Pat McDonagh stating that the group plans to open more outlets in Cork and its first in Donegal soon.

"Last year was a good year but you have to keep moving on, you have to always plan ahead," said McDonagh.
