Supermac's Receives Permission To Construct Motorway Service Station Outside Of Ennis

Following news from September that Supermac's owner Pat McDonagh had applied for planning permission to construct a motorway service station in Ennis, Co. Clare, it has now been announced that Clare County Council has granted Supermac's planning permission to construct a motorway service facility outside of Ennis, off the of the M18 motorway.

As reported by The Irish Times, the €10 million development will be located at Kilbreckan, Doora.

"Very Good For Clare And For Ennis"

The Irish Times quotes McDonagh as saying, "There is nothing on that motorway between Limerick and Tuam. There is something going to go on it somewhere and it will be a big loss to Ennis if they don't get one there.

"I believe that it will be very good for Clare and for Ennis, and good for employment in that area."

McDonagh stated that the development will generate approximately 100 employment opportunities.
