Taiwan-Style Custard Bun Pop-Up Opens At Belfast's Hill Street Hatch

A Taiwan-style custard bun pop-up has opened at Belfast's Hill Street Hatch.

Details

Hill Street Hatch stated, "Bun Stop, an East Asian custard bun concept, is popping up in Hill Street Hatch between October 25th and the 7th November.

"Bun Stop is the creation of Charlotte Black, who left her full-time job as a marketing consultant to bring a unique offering of Taiwanese style custard buns to Belfast’s bustling food scene. Having lived between Taiwan and Belfast throughout her life, Charlotte infuses an authentic Taiwanese flavour to her baked creations."

Additional Information

Hill Street Hatch added, "Like most people working from home during the pandemic, Charlotte recognised that the tea break is more important than ever. Inspired by the hot custard-stuffed buns synonymous with break culture in Asia, she decided to bring a tasty new solution to Northern Ireland with fluffy custard buns, baked fresh every day.

"Having successfully scaled up delivering across Belfast, Charlotte is now ready to bring her business to a city centre location!
