Tim Hortons Announces Opening Date For New Newtownards Outlet

Canadian restaurant brand Tim Hortons has announced that it will open the doors of its newest restaurant in Northern Ireland on 27 March.

Known for its coffee, donuts and Timbits, Tim Hortons will open the doors of its new outlet in Newtownards at 7am on Monday 27 March.

The new venue is located at Castlebawn Retail Park on the A20 roundabout.

Tim Hortons is celebrating the launch of the new venue by awarding the first customer in the drive-through and restaurant queue with free drinks for a year, which is a prize that is worth £3,100. Additionally, Tim Hortons will give away a free breakfast meal to the first 100 customers.

Following its launch, the new restaurant will be open from 6am till midnight, seven days a week, with dine-in, drive-through, takeaway and delivery options being available.

Kevin Hydes, the chief Commercial Officer of the Tim Hortons franchise in the UK, commented, "It brings me great pleasure to unveil the opening date for our new restaurant and drive-thru in the bustling town of Newtownards. We are no strangers to Northern Ireland and are thrilled to be bringing a staple of Canadian heritage even closer to home for the community and surrounding area.

"The team has done an exceptional job behind the scenes to prepare for this launch, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with the community when doors open on Monday 27th March.
