The Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fair will return to Dublin’s Convention Centre from the 5th to the 7th of February 2016, and is set to host more than 60 Irish and international breweries and distilleries.

Visitors to the fair will get the chance to sample more than 300 craft brews from around the world, while enjoying artisan food, live music and even the Six Nations rugby tournament on the big screen.

Last year Alltech welcomed more than 10,000 guests to the event , which hosted breweries from 24 countries worldwide.

Aidan Connolly, chief innovation officer at Alltech commented on the popularity of craft beer, “In the last number of years consumers have developed more discerning tastes resulting in a switch from the big beer brands to those with a distinctive taste and a story to tell.

“Craft beer has two percent of the market share in Ireland today, and it is predicted to rise, with a year-over-year growth of approximately 25%, and new local breweries mushrooming all over the country,” he added.
