Next week is the first of the festival Febvreuary – a month of wine-discovery to last throughout February.
The four-week, nationwide festival is the brainchild of the Febvre Wine Company, a key player in the Irish wine trade for over 50 years.
The first week's events will allow attendees to understand the flavour profiles of the key wine varietals (and with what foods they work best), the methods of selecting and presenting a successful wine list, and the science of biodynamics.
Furthermore, there will be vertical tastings of Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru and Château Corton Grancey Grand Cru (both made by Louis Latour).
