Competing outlets will range from fast-food, food-to-go, hotels, pubs and gourmet burger joints, with a trip for two to New York on offer for the winning outlet.

Bláthnaid Ní Fhátharta, marketing direcror of event sponsor Kepak, said, “Kepak is delighted to be able to bring National Burger Day to Ireland. National Burger Day promises to be a huge hit with customers, and we’ve a heavyweight advertising and PR campaign lined up to make sure that everybody is talking about it. I would urge all potential participants to make sure they don’t miss out on the opportunity to partake by registering at before May 28.
