Pre-Tax Profits And Revenues Fall At Gate Gourmet Ireland

Pre-tax profits decreased from €1.384 million to €1.112 million at catering firm Gate Gourmet during the year that ended on December 31, 2018.

Revenues at Gate Gourmet Ireland, which specialises in in-flight catering facilities, also decreased last year, dropping to €20.512 million from €20.59 million in 2017, while shareholder funds rose to €7.6 million.

The firm's balance sheet indicates that its accumulated profits came to a little over €3 million.

"Constantly Seeking New Opportunities"

According to The Irish Independent, Gate Gourmet Ireland's directors' report stated that "the company continued to perform well in 2018...We are constantly seeking new opportunities, and the directors hope to further expand the business in the foreseeable future and anticipate continued profitability in the coming year."
