Freshii To Generate 100 New Jobs in Northern Ireland

Having already established six successful stores in the Republic of Ireland, Canadian fast food chain Freshii is now set to expand its operations in Northern Ireland with the opening of nine new restaurants.

This move by the company, who are famous for their wraps, salads and various other healthy options, will provide employment opportunities for up to a hundred people, reports The Irish Times. It represents the first step in Freshii's plan to open up to 30 more stores throughout Ireland and Britain by 2022.

The franchise's chief executive in Ireland, Dave O'Donoghue, said, "Freshii's core mission is to help people live healthier and better lives by making nutritious food convenient and affordable and the reaction in Ireland has been phenomenal so far."

In February, Freshii climbed 6.3 percent in its trading debut, after raising C$125.4 million ($96.3 million) in its initial public offering.
