Aer Lingus Announces New Routes From Shannon To Paris And Barcelona

Shannon Group CEO Mary Considine has welcomed the announcement that Aer Lingus is launching new routes from Shannon Airport to Paris and Barcelona, which will begin operating on March 29 and May 2, 2019, respectively.

The new routes will initially operate until October 31, 2019, with the Paris route operating four times per week and the Barcelona route operating three times per week.

"A Major Advancement"

In a statement on Shannon Airport's website, Considine said, "The launch of these two new routes and the investment in two new A321LR aircraft at Shannon is evidence of the strong partnership we have with Aer Lingus. This development is a major advancement in our promise to connect our airport and the west of Ireland to a growing number of global destinations, helping us to make this region a thriving, connected place."
