Dublin Airport's June Passenger Traffic Declined By 97%

Just over 94,000 passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in June. This figure is 97% less than the passenger number figure recorded for June of last year.

Europe Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe fell by 97%, with just over 47,000 people travelling to and from European destinations last month.

UK Traffic

UK traffic was 96% less than the figure recorded for June of 2019, with just over 31,500 passengers travelling to and from Britain last month.

North America Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from North America decreased by 98%, with almost 11,000 passengers travelling on transatlantic routes in June of 2019.

Other International And Domestic Traffic

Meanwhile, other international passenger traffic to the Middle East fell by 96%, with just over 3,700 passengers travelling on these routes last month, and the number of passengers who travelled to and from Dublin Airport on domestic routes decreased by 89% to just over 1,000.

First Six Months Figures

More than 5.3 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in the first six months of this year, which is 65% less than the number of passengers who travelled through the airport during same period last year.
