Dublin Airport's May Passenger Traffic Declined By 98%

Just over 46,000 passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in May. This figure is 98% less than the passenger number figure recorded for May of last year.

Europe Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe declined 99% last month compared to May of 2019, with 20,000 passengers travelling to and from European destinations in May of 2020.

UK Traffic

UK passenger traffic declined by 98% compared to May of 2019, with almost 16,000 passengers travelling to and from Britain last month.

North America Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from North America decreased by 98%, with just over 6,500 passengers travelling on transatlantic routes in May of 2020.

Other International And Domestic Traffic

Meanwhile, other international passenger traffic to the Middle East fell by 95%, with just over 3,600 passengers travelling on these routes last month, and the number of passengers who travelled to and from Dublin Airport on domestic routes decreased by 96% to just over 370.

First Five Months Figures

More than 5.2 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in the first five months of this year, which is 57% less than the number of passengers who travelled through the airport during same period last year.
