Dublin Airport's Passenger Traffic Decreased By 63% In August When Compared To Pre-COVID-19 Pandemic Levels

The number of people that passed through Dublin Airport decreased by 63% when compared to pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels, to close to 1,260,000.

Europe, UK And North America Traffic

Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe declined by 54% in the eighth month of the year to 865,000 people while passenger traffic to and from the UK declined by 72% compared to pre-pandemic levels to 257,000 passengers, and transatlantic passenger traffic declined by 77% to close to 111,000 passengers.

Other International And Domestic Traffic

Meanwhile, other international passenger traffic to and from the Middle East declined by 82% in August to 21,000 passengers, and the number of people who travelled on domestic routes last month declined by 65% compared to 4,300.
