Dublin proved the big winner at yesterday’s ninth annual National Hospitality Conference and Awards by scooping most of the major accolades.
The event, in association with Hospitality Ireland magazine, took place at The Four Seasons in Dublin, where some of the most prominent global names in hospitality spoke to a packed audience.
?At the Awards ceremony, The Bank on College Green was named best pub, seeing off fellow Dublin establishments Toners and Searson’s Bar to the accolade.?The best overall restaurant award went to Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud (pictured accepting award above), which pipped Cavan’s MacNean House and the captial’s Pichet to the award.?Kerry managed to get one over on its old rival Dublin by securing the best hotel award in the shape of Killarney’s The Europe Hotel & Resort, which was voted ahead of Lough Eske Castle and The Brehon.
Elsewhere, Dublin’s The Woollen Mills was deemed the best new establishment, while Everleigh Gardens took out the best nightclub gong.
Hospitality Ireland would like to congratulate all the winners from the 2014 National Hospitality Awards.
