Popeyes, the Louisiana-born brand behind the world-famous Chicken Sandwich, is landing in Ireland for the first time, opening its doors in the Blanchardstown Centre this spring.

Marking its first opening in Ireland, Popeyes also confirms that it has secured a pipeline of additional restaurant openings across the country, with more openings planned in 2026, including a ‘megastore’ in the heart of Dublin.

‘Incredibly Special’

“Bringing Popeyes to Ireland has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally open our first restaurant in Dublin, in [the] Blanchardstown Centre,” said Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK and Ireland CEO.

“Irish fans have been asking for Popeyes for years, so it feels incredibly special to launch here and bring our iconic Chicken Sandwich, Louisiana flavours, and world-famous ‘Shatter-Crunch’ chicken to a whole new audience.”

‘New Orleans Hospitality’

Popeyes’ first Irish restaurant will be located in the Blanchardstown Centre, in Dublin, which will open in spring 2026.
