Ryanair's Passenger Traffic Increased Significantly Year-On-Year In May

Ryanair has released its traffic statistics for May, revealing that the total number of passengers that the company carried last month increased by 13.6 million, or 756%, year-on-year to 15.4 million customers from 1.8 million in May of 2021.

Number Of Flights Operated, Load Factor And Rolling Annual Data

Ryanair operated more than 88,400 flights last month, with a load factor of 92%, which was up by 13% year-on-year from 79% in May of 2021, while its rolling annual traffic increased by 93.7 million, or 310%, year-on-year to 123.9 million from 30.2 million in May of 2021 and its rolling annual load factor increased by 12% year-on-year to 84% from 72% in May of 2021.

Comparison To April

The total number of passengers that Ryanair carried last month also increased from April, rising by 1.2 million in May from 14.2 million in April, while its load factor increased by 1% month-on-month last month from 91% in April.
