Tourism Ireland Partners With Aer Lingus And Racing 92 For New Promotion In France

Tourism Ireland has joined forces with Aer Lingus and Paris rugby club Racing 92 for a new promotion intended to encourage French holiday-makers to visit the Wild Atlantic Way this year.

The new promotion involves the broadcasting of a Tourism Ireland TV ad both inside the Paris La Défense Arena and on the giant screens outside the venue, as well as online ads on Racing 92's digital platforms.

"An Ideal Opportunity"

Tourism Ireland's manager for southern Europe, Monica MacLaverty, stated, "We know that the Wild Atlantic Way holds a special appeal for French holiday-makers, so this partnership is an ideal opportunity to promote the new Aer Lingus flight [that brings] them directly [from Paris] to Shannon and the heart of the eest of Ireland.

"France is one of the top four markets for tourism to the island of Ireland. Tourism Ireland will roll out an extensive and targeted programme of promotional activity again in 2020 to continue to grow French visitor numbers and, in particular, to encourage more of them to come and explore our regions and less-visited attractions during the off-peak season."
