Wingstop, the global chicken brand with nearly 3,000 restaurants worldwide, is expanding its European footprint by opening its first location in Ireland, at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, in Dublin, this winter.
Operated by Lemon Pepper Holdings, the initial roll-out of Wingstop includes a flagship dine-in location at Liffey Valley and a delivery kitchen in Dublin (available via Deliveroo), with an expected 20 sites to open across the island within the next seven years.
The company noted that the Dublin opening will also bring new employment opportunities before Christmas, supported by long-term career growth through its Step-Up programme and Wingstop University internal training programme.
“Ireland has an energy that matches our own, and we can’t wait to connect with local brands, creatives and charities to make a difference in the communities we will serve,” said a Wingstop UKI representative.
“We’re also proud to be creating more than just job opportunities in Ireland. Through our training and development programmes, crew members joining Wingstop UKI will have the chance to build meaningful careers, with leadership opportunities and the ongoing support they need to succeed.”
Wingstop is known for its bold range of sauces and seasonings, from the fan favourite Lemon Pepper to the sweet heat of Mango Habanero, the smoky kick of the Louisiana Rub, and the daring Atomic.
Maeve Foley, director of asset management at Hines Ireland, the asset and development manager with the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, said, “In our constant drive to enhance the Liffey Valley customer experience, we know visitors will love this fantastic addition to our food-and-beverage offering at the centre.”
