Beannchor Announces Plans For 52-Bedroom Lisburn Hotel

Bill Wolsey's Beannchor group has announced plans to open a new £4 million hotel in Lisburn, generating employment for 75 people.

As reported by The Irish Times, if approved, the proposed 52-bedroom venue would be located at Lisburn Square and would be Beannchor's first hotel in Lisburn. The group also owns Belfast's Bullitt Hotel as well as over 40 pubs and the Little Wing Pizzeria chain, which just announced plans to expand into the Republic of Ireland.

"A Major Economic Boost"

Commenting on the proposed hotel, Wolsey said, "Hospitality continues to be one of Northern Ireland’s most important industries and largest employers. We believe the creation of 75 new full-time and part-time jobs will be a major economic boost for Lisburn Square and the city.

"We already have a presence in Lisburn Square through our very successful Little Wing Pizzeria and have been working alongside the square’s owners for the past six months to create the vision for a hotel that the people of Lisburn can be proud of."
