Dublin Hotel Occupancy Was Reportedly 16% In January

According to the latest Dublin Economic Monitor, Dublin hotel occupancy was 16% in January.

Average Daily Rate

As reported by rte.ie, the monitor, which is published by Fingal County Council, Dublin City Council, South Dublin County Council and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, also stated that the average daily rate for a Dublin hotel room in January was €88.

Dublin Airport And Dublin Port Data

Additionally, the monitor indicated that Dublin Airport's passenger traffic declined by more than 91% to 720,000 people during the last quarter of 2020, while Dublin Port's throughput levels surged to more than 10 million tonnes as both imports and exports increased significantly, with Brexit stockpiling and online retailing being the likely drivers of this.
